The Lingerlong swimming hole is known throughout the community as the coolest spot to swim, literally. Brier Creek is spring fed so in the hottest months when the creek gets low, the temperature never rises above 78 degrees.

Located just across the creek is Tuckahoe WMA, which is 15,100 acres bordering Brier Creek all the way to the Savannah River.

Mouth of the Creek hunting club has 2,400 acres and membership is available with purchase of this property. Hunting includes turkey, deer, and hogs.
