You are also just a few minutes from Hwy-75 which will put you in Birmingham in less than an hour or Huntsville, Gadsden, or Cullman in about the same time. From here you are also less than an hour to the lakes at Guntersville and Pell City or the Tennessee River in Decatur. No need to drive to Decatur to the water park, Blountsville and Spring Valley Beach are only about 20 minutes away. People come from miles around every Summer to swim and slide at one of Alabama’s premier splash parks. In the fall, drop off the Mountain to Springville and visit Homestead Hollow for a good ole time to enjoy the country crafts and Bluegrass. It is a festival not to be missed.
