Headquarters Pasture

The Headquarters tract of the Ancient Oaks Ranch is a large tract nearly two sections in size. The entrance on Park Road 4 is about ten miles from Marble Falls. Spectacular views to the South towards the Colorado River Valley and to the West towards Lake Buchanan. The ranch is covered in Live Oak, Post Oak, Elm, Mesquite and Cedars. Over a century of continued range management is evident with virtually no old growth Cedar on the ranch. Excellent native grasses and a variety of brush species are abundant for wildlife and cattle alike. Mud Creek crosses the ranch and offers some potential dam sites.

Location: 8 miles from Burnet, 10 miles from Marble Falls, 55 miles from Austin, 90 miles from San Antonio.
