The 13,700+/- acre Crockett Ranch lies in a contiguous block of almost entirely deeded land and sits nearly midway between the Big Horn Mountains and the Black Hills. During the winter and spring, one can see the snowcapped peaks of the Big Horns 90 miles to the west. The ranch begins about 10 miles north of Recluse and runs northerly for 7 miles along the county road towards the Montana border.
