I have heard it asked dozens of times, We need a place that is secluded, that has pretty woods/timber, some hardwoods, has a trail system, food plots and a flowing creek you have found it. Tucked back off of a county road accessed by a gravel, deeded easement driveway, you will find an awesome hunting tract. The land is gently rolling and if you study the topo lines on the map, you’ll notice all the undulation, the finger ridges, the small hollows and saddles. There is a big stand of a mixed hardwood/pine forest on the western block of the tract and a younger middle-aged stand of mainly pines with scattered hardwoods on the eastern portion. The trails are UTV-worthy and traverse around and over the ridges. Toward the back of the property, you will find Mill Creek. With over 800’ along the creek, there are scenic shoals and the look of it is something like you would see out of a fly fishi...
With over 800’ along the creek, there are scenic shoals and the look of it is something like you would see out of a fly fishing magazine. There are bends and eddies in the creek and it just makes you want to sit and just listen. There are towering beech trees along the creek as well as poplar, oaks, and hickory that haven’t been cut in decades. This would make a tremendous area for a secluded rustic campsite. There are 3 small food plots that are set up great for hunting. There are numerous other areas that, with a little dozer work, could be improved for hunting as well if so desired. The property is very long, and with practically no development right near it, it would hunt big. The deer and turkey populations in this area are very good. This tract is tucked right inside AL, so if you are from Georgia and looking right across the line this could be a candidate. A rural retreat to enjoy the natural beauty and an oasis you would look forward to exploring is what is so attractive about this tract for me. Please reach out to me, this listing agent, Ben Richardson or Jason McGee for more details and to set up your private tour.
