Hazen, Nevada

Approximately half way between Fernley and Fallon sits the town of Hazen, founded in 1903 as place to house laborers for the canals and irrigation projects. Soon there were hotels, saloons and Brothels. Retail shops began to pop up and a Post Office Arrived in 1904. By 1905 Southern Pacific railroad built a station in town. A fire a few years later destroyed most everything. What is left today is a cozy community near many larger cities but far enough removed for you to enjoy the wild west lifestyle.
