The Tierra Verde Ranchettes offer peace and quiet from the busy world. This area is very secluded yet accessible. The roads to this subdivision and the existing roads that run through the subdivision are all dirt roads. There is no municipal water system available, so you will probably use a rainwater catchment system which works well here. You could also haul your water in and use tank storage. For electricity you will probably use solar, unless you want to contact the electric utility about possibly running a line from the existing power about 0.3 mile away.
For the wildlife lovers, there are record class elk in these mountains. Also there are lots of deer, bear, antelope, sheep, mountain lions, wildcats, coyote, fox, and many other animals. When we were in this area we saw a beautiful timber wolf standing on a hill just off of the road. Also we watched several large elk grazing a couple hundred yards away.
