Have you dreamed of owning hunting land in the rich, fertile, Mississippi Delta and maybe even looked at property in the region? Did you realize that for about the same price as a modest size tract in the delta region, you can become an equity partner and investor in one of the most premier hunting clubs in the Southeast?
Today, twenty two equity partners own Miller Point where trophy deer, abundant turkeys, ducks, doves and even bears and alligators make their home. To the partners in this wild, historic property it has become their homeplace on the Great River. Miller Point was created over eons and is defined today by the Mississippi River, specifically the river bend which bears its name. It?s a land of beauty and bounty which, except for the all-weather road system, is today as it was in 1541 when Hernando Desoto found it.

In 1848 the River changed course, taking a shortcut toward New Orleans and leaving a great teardrop of land encircled by what is now called Old River Lake. The Supreme Court of the United States eventually decided in 1921 that the teardrop inside the Lake remained under the sovereignty of Arkansas, even though the land inside the cutoff is located on the ?Mississippi? side of the River. This history provides the club?s equity partners with a two-state hunting season, extending their time afield. Although there are overlaps, the two states? game seasons never coincide exactly; the result is a much longer season than either of the single states adopts.
With an average harvested buck age of 4 ? years, Miller Point?s deer management program has been under the direction of a game biologist for the better part of three decades. Miller Point also features a timber management program designed to improve and enhance the wildlife habitat rather than the timber value.
Other features and benefits include but are not limited to:
