The varied topography and combination of open savannah to dense brush, large live oaks, mesquite, and elm trees, make excellent habitat for Whitetail, turkey, and dove. Nutrient sources include a diverse mixture of tall and mid native turf grasses. There are approximately three different soil types on this ranch, all of which are conductive to raising livestock and game-managed wildlife on this fenced ranch. The soil types are more specifically known as Tobasa, Kavett, and Valera Clay.
The ranch is fenced with barbed wire on the western, southern and easterly boundaries. All of which border large, multi-sectional ranches.
