The planted pines are 4.5-year-old, Varietal loblolly pines, with some large hardwoods providing food and shade along the bottoms. Per literature available from ArborGen, Varietals are the most advanced genetics pine seedlings available in the world. Each individual tree is a genetic replica engineered for fast growth, log straightness, disease resistance, and volume gain. Varietals are much more expensive to plant but are projected to significantly outpace other Loblolly trees in growth to merchantable stages. They are planted at 622 trees per acre and are scheduled for one thinning.
The three stocked ponds, ranging in size from a half-acre to over two acres, all have newly built docks and are ready to fish! There are four food plots and a wide variety of fruit trees planted throughout the property.
With over 1,200 feet of frontage on Stricklin Road, and internal trails that provide access throughout the property, this tract is ideally set up for hunting, fishing and enjoying the great outdoors.
