This northwest Texas hunting tract offers privacy, diverse landscapes, and a variety of wildlife uncommon to this area. The ranch is bordered on the south by a 500+ acre Rio Grande turkey preserve and is adjacent to a 160 acre high fenced game ranch to the southwest, which is stocked with exotics. It is common to see stray elk, red stag, and other unusual game visiting the feeders or crossing the back pasture.
In addition to these free range exotics, the ranch boasts large whitetail deer, plus the occasional mulie. Nice 10 and 8 point bucks have been seen on the owner's game cameras (see pictures). Large flocks of Rios travel the south border near the turkey preserve. Bobwhite quail and mourning dove will be found in the pastures. Other native wildlife includes feral hog, bobcat, and coyote.

The unique terrain here allows excellent bow and rifle hunting on the ranch. The north 60 acres is heavily wooded, with hackberry, elm, willow, mesquite, and cedar trees covering the hills. A seasonal creek runs from west to east through this wooded area, which keeps one pond full year around. A second, larger pond is located between the two pastures. This pond has a line ran to it from a solar-powered water well, so it continually has water going to it as well.
South of the woods and creek are 100 acres of sloping, terraced pasture land. Various range grasses, such as indian and tall bluestem, plus mesquite thickets, provide ideal bedding ares for whitetails and other game. This area of the ranch provides the best rifle shots, while the thicker, north 60 acres is more conducive to bowhunting from tree stands or ground blinds.
This ranch comes with three box blinds and towers, two of which are 10' tall and the other is 5'. There is an excellent barbed wire fence around the perimeter, and one cross fence that creates a ten acre trap on the east side. Pipe corners have been put in along the edge of the 60 and 100 acre pastures, easily allowing a new owner to put in another cross fence, if desired. The ranch has 1/2 mile of frontage on a county maintained dirt road on the north side and is only one mile away from the paved State Highway 6. Awesome views of the Sugarloaf and Teacup mountains to the south. The ranch has three metal swing gate entrances off of the county road and a good interior road system.
