Description: This is a nice farm located in north central Hale County, only 5 miles northwest of Plainview Texas. There are 5 wells that are producing a total of 218 gallons of water per minute to the pivot. (See current well meter document from HPWD) The pivot is a 2004 Valley system that is 2512 in length, tall tires, and in very good condition. The pad for the pivot is on the south/central side and it delivers the water in a windshield type pattern. Soils include 87.4% Pullman clay loam with 0-1% slopes, which is the most desirable soil type for raising typical crops in this area. Wells are tied into the pivot with all plastic PVC underground pipe. Electric submersible pumps include 1-5HP, 2-7.5HP, 1-10HP, and 1-25HP. Average well depths are approximately 275.8.
