Kingwood Forestry Services, Inc. has been authorized to manage the sale of 40 acres, more or less, of timberland in Hot Spring County, Arkansas.
Location: The Antioch tract is located seven (7) miles north of Friendship and is further described as NE of NE, Section 14, Township 5 South, Range 19 West, containing 40 acres, more or less, Hot Spring County, Arkansas.
Tract Description: Access is via woods roads from south across adjacent landowners with possible logging access from the north. Timber consists of mature pine and hardwood stands. Pine site index averages 80 feet (base age 50) on fine sandy loams. Terrain is flat to gently rolling. DeLisle Creek flows through the tract. Tract may offer immediate timber harvesting, plus deer & turkey hunting opportunities.

Merchantable Timber: Kingwood Forestry conducted an inventory of merchantable timber (one plot / point per two acres) of merchantable timber in November, 2015. Based on Kingwood's inventory, estimated tree counts and timber volumes are as follows:
Pine Sawtimber: 657 Trees; 114,263 BF; 834 Tons
Oak Sawtimber: 524 Trees; 66,219 BF; 516 Tons
Gum & Misc. Sawtimber: 137 Trees; 11,812 BF; 95 Tons
Pine Pulpwood: 564 Trees; 133 Tons
Hardwood Pulpwood: 3,070 Trees; 766 Tons
Due to variations in cruising methods, utilization standards and scaling practices, tree counts and volume estimates cannot be guaranteed. Volume reports in Tons and Board Feet are included. Additional timber volume reports (tree counts by species, diameter, and height) are available on our website.
Method of Sale: The tract will be sold on the basis of lump sum sealed bids. An offer form is attached. Bids will be opened at the Kingwood Forestry office at #4 Executive Circle, Arkadelphia, Arkansas at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 15, 2016. Mailed offers should be addressed to Kingwood Forestry Services, Inc., P.O. Box 65, Arkadelphia, AR 71923 with "Antioch Tract Land Sale" clearly marked in the lower left corner of the envelope to protect security of the offer. On mailed offers, please call our office prior to bid opening to confirm receipt of offer. Completed offer forms may also be delivered by fax to 8702463341 or e-mailed.All faxed /e-mailed offers will be immediately acknowledged. Please await confirmation that your faxed /e-mailed offer has been received. No verbal telephone offers will be accepted. Buyers submitting offers are welcome to attend the bid opening.
