This very well built "Over-The-Water" boat storage building is located on 10,970 acre Portage Lake, near Finlandia University and Michigan Tech University. This body of water is part of the Portage Waterway, a 26 mile long body of water which allows Great Lakes vessels direct passage through the Keweenaw Peninsula. During the summer over 1,000 vessels pass through this canal, as well as hundreds of personal watercraft. An area known for water recreation, the "Bridge Fest", Fishing Derbys, Seafood Fests, Waterski Shows, and Fishing are popular. The clean canal waters just off this property are home to many species of fish and there is direct access to Lake Superior for exciting "deep sea" fishing! Views from this property include Mt.
