Horses are fenced in a 6 acre area that is wooded (no pasture).In front of the barn is a flat that is large enough for a 50' round pen. We are a 45 minute haul to Cuneo Creek horse camp which has several paddocks and hot showers. The camp is surrounded by Rockefeller state park. We are a 30 min haul to Tooby park which is in Garberville and has about 5 miles of trails; also nearby is a boarding facility that allows public usage of covered arena. We are a 1 hour haul to Centerville Beach which has 10 miles of beach access; nearby in Ferndale is the Humboldt County Fairgrounds which allows public access to their covered arena. We are 30 minute haul to an arena that has roping 3-4 days a week and jackpots weekly. From the house there is riding on private ranches with permission from owners.
