After all of the hard habitat work and habitat improvements I have made, it's always a productive hunt. Having so much securitycover for bucks, and the best food plots around, it is always a matter of simply hunting the right day. The chestnut, apple, pear and persimmon trees are maturing and producing mast. There are ample oaks producingacorns. They are surrounded by cover, where a buck can feel comfortable. A swamp to the west allows deer to age. Access from the East works on the majority of wind directions while hunting.
I am going to miss watching the sunset from my treestand over the giant weeping willow. I am going to miss watching the deer eat the apples from the trees I planted with my young daughters.
