Wildlife: The farm is a terrific waterfowl place with loads of ducks and geese taking advantage of the rice and rye grass grown on the farm. The 72 acre reservoir holds a tremendous number of ducks and is used as a roost pond for the geese. Along the Lavaca River flyway, it is an excellent waterfowl property. Along with the waterfowl, there are a tremendous number of whitetail deer on the property along with great dove and hogs with some quail and turkey.
