The views from the ranch are nothing short of stunning and overlook the most spectacular scenery in the Davis Mountains as well as the Glass, Puertocitas, Haystacks, Del Nortes and Chinati Mountains beyond Alpine, Marfa, and Marathon.
The most amazing aspect of the ranch, besides the setting, is the historic headquarters which has been carefully restored with designer quality finishes, unique architecture, and landscaping touches which highlight the old but embrace the new. The rock main house, adobe outbuildings, and an exquisitely designed bunk house or guest house make up the compound, which is surrounded with native landscaping. Barns, shop, Formans house, and organic garden round out this headquarters and all is located within a broad valley floor in Frazier Canyon surrounded with high cliffs and mountains. A setting, a place, a ranch that you want to call home.
Frazier Canyon has a huge abundance of groundwater which is the reason the old headquarters was located here. The well is only 80 feet deep with water standing at 19 feet and a submersible pump- provides excellent clean, clear water. This well provides water to all the improvements as well as to five water troughs located in Frazier and Cave Canyons.
The Ranch has several miles of Frazier Creek and Cave Creek which runs within providing amazing water during the summer and fall. In addition, there are three known full time springs that provide excellent water for wildlife year round and several dirt tanks scattered on the ranch to supplement water in the high mountains.
