S. Fork Round Prairie Creek Tree Farm

This 160 acre tree farm in Southwest Oregon is near Wilderville, and Redwood Highway. One hundred acres located north of South Fork Round Prairie Creek were logged in 2015, and replanted in 2017, with a mixture of ponderosa pine and incense cedar plugs. Overall stocking is 300 350 trees per acre. There is an estimated 477 MBF of primarily Douglas-fir, with some pine available for harvest on 55 acres south of the creek along a north-facing slope. Please see September 2018 Timber Report by Mason, Bruce & Girard. A rocked logging road to the southeast corner of the property provides legal access to the tract. Topography containing the timber is moderate to steep north-facing slopes from South Fork Round Prairie Creek, but could accommodate ground-based logging for the majority of the site.
