Local Area

The old town of Geyser, Montana was named for the bubbly mud geysers in the area. The present town location was moved where stagecoaches would rest for the night en route between Great Falls and Lewistown. Geyser is in Judith Basin County surrounded by four beautiful mountain ranges: Little Belt Mountains, Snowy's, Highwood's and the Judith's.
