Acreage Description:
This property is zoned RR5 and is mostly level with a gentle slope and a full perimeter drainage ditch to keep your pastures useable during wet periods. The home looks out over a private meadow that opens to beautiful sunset views. The property offers a lovely mixture of trees and pasture and boasts a seasonal creek that runs behind the backyard and Wild Creek that meanders along the eastern property line.
Home:
The original 2,308 sqft, 3 bedroom/2.5 bathroom custom log home was built and owned by a local craftsman in 1992. The current homeowners have finished the entire area above the two car garage with a living space and half bath, bringing the finished area square footage up to approximately 2,733+/-. This space was finished without a permit and is not included in the county square footage records.
The home features tall ceilings open to the second floor, a floor to ceiling riverstone fireplace, granite kitchen counters and hickory hardwood cabinets and flooring throughout.
Office/Studio:
There is a separate finished studio/office structure next to the barn. This space is perfect for occasional guests or to pursue your hobbies!
Outdoor Area:
As spectacular as the interior of the home is, the finished outdoor spaces will also wow you. This is the perfect space for a barbeque with friends and family. The home is surrounded by landscaped beds that are irrigated and wired for accent lighting.
Barn/Stables:
The big, picturesque barn is currently set up with 4 matted stalls with room for more. The Sellers use a bucket or trough watering system in the stalls. The custom stall fronts include some fun memorabilia with charming door handles from the historic Sun Valley Lodge in Idaho. There is an insulated walk-in storage room that once served as cold storage from the days that the property was a Holly Farm.
In keeping with many barn lofts, this upstairs barn loft has served as a party room with room for tables and chairs and a pool table. The barn loft is plumbed for a woodstove and includes a separate, small heated space.
