LOCATION: Located in LeFlore County, Southeast Oklahoma. Less than 4 hours From Dallas, 2 hours from Tulsa, and less than an hour drive from Ft. Smith, Ark.. Approximately 2 miles East of a small rural mountain community with a church and convenience stores. Property is located just over 1/2 mile from Wister Lake and 600 from the banks of Holson Creek in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains. Numerous other lakes are located in the area including Cedar, Kerr, Eufaula, Tenkiller and Broken Bow. The Cedar Lake and Blackfork riding trails are only miles to the south. Topography nearly level to gently sloping on the open pastures and meadows on the east side, rising up the two dominant peak ridges on the west before dropping off to the banks of Holson Creek. There are the remains of an old homestead on the flat above the creek and overlooking the pasture that is depicted by the staunch stone fireplace still standing.
