Enoree River Tract lies in a very quiet rural setting bounded by US Forest Service lands to the west and the Enoree River to the south. The land had been managed for pine timber production. About 130 acres of broad uplands are covered in loblolly pine planted in 2019. This young stand dominates the northern part of the property. To the south, about 80 acres of pine are now about 24-years-old. These trees were planted and fertilized in 1998, fertilized again in 2002, first thinned in 2010 and second thinned in 2017. Both stands of pine have superior genetics, good spacing and are free to grow with little competition on site.

From Whitmore, SC at the intersection of Union Street (Hwy 72) and Church Street (Hwy 176) with United Methodist Church on corner, go east on Hwy 176 toward Union and Chester. After about 2 miles, stay right at the Y to continue toward Carlisle and Chester. Just over a mile past the Y, turn right onto Maybinton Road. After about 8 miles on Maybinton Road, look for Mohegan Trail on the right. Turn on Mohegan Trail and proceed about 1,000 feet. Property will be on the right side of the road. Look for a small yellow gate and for sale signs.
