This open field also provides the same opportunity for retreat living, building, subdividing, or growing crops and is located well out of the flood plain while being just steps away from the river.
The name "Foster's Preserve" was inspired by a great fox hound, Foster, wandering and hunting through this property. As you traverse within the boundaries you will find multiple stories of hardwood and coniferous forest, quintessential old-growth West Virginian rhododendron thickets, and multiple mountain springs all cascading down to the mighty Greenbrier River. Various interweaving trail systems join together to make this property quite simple to navigate from ridge to river bottom.
This property is around 15 miles from Rt. 219, 15 minutes to Cass, and just 25 minutes to Marlinton and Snowshoe Mountain Resort. Modern amenities are just a few minutes' drive but feel worlds away at Foster's Preserve. Nature's mountain playground awaits!
