This property is a hidden gem tucked away adjacent to the confluence of Pompey Ditch and the old Coldwater River. The land consists of 43+/- total acres with a mixture of bottomland sloughs, hardwood riparian corridors, CRP, and WRP.
Deer hunting in this area is on par with the best that Mississippi has to offer. This property is small in size making it more affordable, but it also benefits from being contiguous with thousands of acres of great deer habitat in the form of varying age classes of planted bottomland hardwoods.
The willow/tupelo slough provides opportunities to hold water for ducks most of the season. The lowest parts of the property hold water regularly, but will begin flooding when the Coldwater River reaches approx. 35' on the Marks gauge. The majority of the property will be flooded at 38' providing great duck hunting opportunities.
