Runnels Co. Ranch

Size: 390 +/-. The farm has 342.44 acres in cultivation and the remaining 47.66 acres in pasture or creeks.

Terrain: The tract is fairly level with some slight slope on the west end of the farm. The fields are being grazed by cattle and are in abundance of volunteer wheat, oats and Johnson grass.

Water: There are two water wells. One is equipped with a submergible pump and the other is cased. Three earthen tanks plus the Wagon Tire Creek, a wet weather creek, also supply water for livestock and wildlife.

Improvements: Fencing has been replaced with new 5 strand barb on three sides. Fencing along Oak Creek has not been replaced and is adequate considering Oak Creek is all high banked. There are some fenced corrals that need some attention, an alley made of cross ties and a catch pen at one of the earthen tanks. They are old but usable.
