The forest is a great combination of loblolly pine plantations and native bottomland hardwood timber. This land has produced good pine and hardwood timber harvests over the past two decades. The USDA NRCS soils book shows the Laneville loam soils with an excellent 100-foot site index for loblolly pine, base age 50.

From Jacksonville, go to Reklaw on Highway 204, then east on Highway 84 for 9.7 miles to FM 225. Go south (right) for 2.5 miles and cross the East Fork Angelina River bridge. The property is on the right (west) side of FM 225. The south boundary is about .45 miles south of the river bridge.
From Nacogdoches/Cushing, the property is 3 miles north of Highway 204 on FM 225, with the property on the left (west) side of FM 225.
From Henderson, take FM 225 south to Highway 84, or Highway 259 to Mt. Enterprise then west on Highway 84 to Fm 225. The tract is 2.5 miles south of Highway 84.
