298 deeded acres of diverse landscape located just south of the continental divide in Game Management Unit 7. This property has a littlebit of everything from sage brush flats, mesa tops, rock outcroppings, an intermittent water course that is part of the headwaters of the San Isidro Arroyo, and a year round spring. From the ranch you have views of the Jemez Mountains and Mount Taylor, Multiple mesas, and low flats. Located between 7000 and 7160 feet in elevation, the property is predominately Pinon Juniper with a good amount of Ponderosa Pine and some oak, Big Sage, Blue Gramma, Galleta, Bottle Brush, western Wheat and other native grasses. The year round spring is frequented by Elk, Mule Deer, Coyotes, Mountain Lions, and various small game. The property is accessed via maintained county road from US Hwy 550. This is a remote property with no electricity perfect for hunting camps or off grid cabins. Its less about 20 minutes from Cuba and an hour and a half to Farmington, Albuquerque, or Santa Fe.
