A portion of this lease has been planted with the only permanent vineyard on AZ State Lease Land. The vineyard is fenced and includes an irrigation well, and trellises with drip lines already in place. The current vines will need to be removed and replanted. Approximately 18-20 acres of grapevines have been traditionally grown on this lease. According to the State Land Department, remaining acreage could be subleased for grazing. On a State Land Lease, the Lessee owns the improvements, including wells, fences, vines, etc.
