Just to the south you will notice two ponds (that actually become one if the water level gets high enough). The west pond is obviously deeper and has a good number of fish in it. I see these being great duck holes as well.
The wooded part of the property is a whole different environment on its own. It is thick and bushy on the edge, but a lot more open and airy once you get under the mature growth. It is mostly hedge and hackberry trees. Obviously, this a great travel corridor for the wildlife that call this area home.
The mowed picnic area along the river is absolutely amazing! This is the place to be on warm summer's evening. The property line is the edge of the river, but you will have your very own access to the public waters. There is nothing more relaxing than the gentle flow of the river this time of the year!
