The location is less than 1.5 hours from San Antonio, home to all else, and about 1 hour from exciting Del Rio, its sister city Villa Acuna and fabled Lake Amistad along the Mexican border. Hardwood trees include liveoak,

Hardwood-lined draws provide habitat to scads of wild turkey who roam the countryside in large flocks. Other wildlife present throughout the ranch includes large, native whitetail deer, hogs, dove, songbirds, varmints and exotic game. The hunting is regarded as excellent, and could be further enhanced with species-specific management if one so desired, as 160-class whitetail deer have been observed infrequently on the ranch.

IMPROVEMENTS: This ranch has few improvements, though a usable, restored hunting cabin is located on a flat in eastern portion of ranch. Current ownership has cleared and bladed many miles of roads, giving excellent accessibility to all areas of the ranch. An aforementioned water system supplies ample sustenance for livestock and wildlife. Fencing and cross-fencing are adequate for normal ranching purposes, thus giving the ranch an infrastructure that is rated as “above average” for the area, though the west line is unfenced at this time.
