The deer sign is everywhere in the form of rubs, scrapes, and trails that have been worn down from years of use. The many ridge tops produce a lot of roosting trees for the resident turkeys. The resident turkeys are quite comfortable with all of the recent timber work. The tree tops and hinge cutting have created an abundant amount of nesting and security cover. The tillable acres sandwich the wooded acres on the east and west. The property is set up to hunt the ridge tops in the morning to intersect the deer as they return to the woods to bed and hunt the transition zones as they return to the fields in the evenings.
