Recreation
Given the proximity to Prewitt Reservoir the property is abundant with wildlife. The ground water ponds offer amazing habitat and provide food, cover, and water. The waterfowl hunting in this region is second to none. Early season teal can find a safe haven on the ponds. As the waterfowl season goes into the winter, the hunting gets better. Ducks and geese will feed in the surrounding ag fields and can be seen on the property through out the season. Deer numbers in the region continue to stay strong. The ranch qualifies for Landowner Preference Tags, and deer are found year-round on the property. Antelope can also be seen frequently on the ranch, along with doves, quail, and pheasants.

Camping: There are no established campgrounds, but dispersed camping is permitted around the property unless posted. There are numerous lakeside campsites marked by a fire ring. It’s the closest free, lakeside, camping to Denver for those with a valid Colorado hunting or fishing license.
Boating: 2,431-acre lake open to wakeless boating.
