WELCOME TO THE YAZOO 62.3. This one is in the right spot...adjoining the Backwoods Premium Wildlife Products Testing Grounds and less than mile from Panther Swamp National Wildlife Refuge. The Yazoo County, MS property is located just off Highway 16 and accessed by a deeded easement. As you enter the 62.3 acre tract along the gravel drive, you will be right in the middle of the 30 acres of tillable ground (mainly Class 2 and 3 Soils). The tillable ground is irrigated by a 10 submersible electric well ensuring your crop will have the water it needs, and your duck hole will be full at the push of a button. Currently, the tillable acreage is planted in a beautiful corn crop that will be left for the deer and ducks. You will find a duck blind just waiting to be brushed in. Additionally, there is a Backwoods Box Stand overlooking two wildlife plots surrounded in standing corn. As you leave the tillable area, you enter the mature bottomland hardwoods. This area took me back to my childhood squirrel hunting days with my grandad in the Mississippi Delta its a beautiful setting.

Three double millennium stands overlook openings in the hardwoods, ready for those rut hunts. The deer and duck hunting in the Mississippi Delta can be some of the best we have to offer in the state and the Yazoo 62.3 is no different. A small tributary leads to Wolf Lake that makes for a great water source and travel corridor for the wildlife. This tract is located just 8 miles northwest of Yazoo City and 33 miles northwest of Madison.
