Improvements: The picturesque, comfortable lodge is positioned for serene views overlooking a nice lake. The headquarters is comprised of 3 separate buildings that visually connect by the landscaping and shared outdoor amenities. One features an open, vaulted living and dining room with stone fireplace and large windows that frame views of the lake. The inviting porch expands entertaining and dining space in the pleasant year around climate. The second building provides personal privacy with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The third is a 60x40 stone barn with small living quarters, plus two overhead doors and walk-in cooler.

Water: This ranch has 2 water wells that supply the Headquarters and a few water troughs. The wells run water to a reverse osmosis system that provides potable water to the house. There are 4 nice earthen tanks. The main house lake is 3 acres when full. Both the Olmos Creek and Gato Creek traverse the property. These provide major drainage and runoff to several of the current tanks and offer good foliage cover for wildlife as well. All of the tanks offer good bass fishing, dove and seasonal duck hunting.

Vegetation: This ranch has all the necessary browse to grow very large native whitetail deer. The brush is very diverse and in many areas very sparse allowing for good quail hunting opportunities. The ranch consists of the most desirable brush species of South Texas. Brush species include: Guajillo, Black Brush, Guayacon, Granjeno, Persimmon, White Brush, Prickley Pear, Tasajillo and Huisache. Along the two creeks, a few Oak, Hackberry and Elm trees can be found. Large Mesquite trees are scattered throughout the ranch as well.

Wildlife: The ranch offers low fence, free range whitetail deer hunting at its finest. Completely native and wild, this property is loaded with native wildlife. Several 170 B/C bucks have been harvested in the past 15 years. Wildlife includes Whitetail deer, turkey, quail, dove, javelina, hogs and varmints. All of the tanks offer fishing, dove and seasonal duck hunting.
