WILDLIFE: The property is home to all native species of game. A quail population and trophy deer herd are highlights of the ranch. The deer have been well managed for many years and is evident by multiple young deer scoring over 170 B&C. Turkey are abundant and selective clearing has enhanced the quail population. Numerous other species provide year-round hunting opportunities. The property is under MLDP Level 3 permit.
TERRAIN AND HABITAT: The Leona River Ranch is home to excellent native browse for deer, including granjeno, guayacan, and white brush.
