Charles Springs is located approximately 5 miles South of Dowling Park. This County Park consists of 5 acres of land along the Suwannee River and has been designated as a historic site. The small shallow spring has a diameter of about 25 feet and a depth of 2 10 feet. The area is heavily wooded and features a nice bluff overlooking the Suwannee River. There is a one lane, paved boat ramp and parking area and wooden steps leading down to the spring. The park is also along the Suwannee River Wilderness Trail route from White Springs to the mouth of the Suwannee at the Gulf of Mexico.

At Country Meadows you will find 5 and 10 acre estates located on a county maintained dirt road and less then half of a mile from the nearest paved road. Electricity is available to the front of the property and for water and sewer, you would need to install a well and septic tank. The properties have scattered oak and hardwood trees throughout them and many cleared spaces for building. Estates 2, 3, and 4 have a thick tree line along the road providing privacy with a cleared meadow behind the tree line. We have established a driveway into each estate. There is no requirement or timetable to build. Mobile and Modular Homes are permitted. Farm animals are permitted.

There are NO DEED RESTRICTIONS on this property, but you must follow the building codes of Suwannee County when you do decide to build or make improvements.
